We don’t believe in "temporary" fixes. Every project we undertake in Midlothian is engineered to withstand the local climate, using responsibly sourced timber and heritage-grade fixings.
We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all local projects. Simply contact us via phone or email, and we will arrange a site visit to discuss your requirements and take precise measurements for a fixed-price estimate.
Based in Penicuik, we cover all of Midlothian, Edinburgh, and the surrounding Lothians. For larger bespoke structural projects or garden rooms, we are happy to travel further across Central Scotland.
Birkiewood Building Services handles the full envelope. We are master joiners by trade, but our expertise extends to structural timber framing, roofing repairs, and full-scale garden building construction from foundation to finish.
Lead times vary depending on the scale of the work. Small interior joinery tasks can often be scheduled within 2-3 weeks, while larger structural builds typically require 4 to 8 weeks' notice for material procurement and planning.
